My name is Andrea Chuchoque. I grew up in a small mid-western town in Michigan. I am currently a wife, mom to three children and a kindergarten Spanish Immersion teacher. That may not sound too interesting or exciting, but it is. My memoirs chronicle my journey to where I am. I highly recommend them (although I am biased). They chronicle my study abroad trip in Costa Rica. They are full of surprises. I think they will make you laugh, cry, and think. Most of all, I hope they will make you hug the ones you love.
My children are Camryn Lynn (10), Zahara Lex (5), Malekai Alexander (3), and baby Chuchoque to come in March. I love to read to them, play games together and ride bikes. We also have a tree fort that we built together that we enjoy working on. My children greatly influence my writing.
Besides memoirs I write children's books in Spanish. As a kindergarten teacher I have seen that highly engaging emergent texts are lacking in the area of Spanish ebooks, so I am attempting to fill the void.
Feel free to check out my blog too, I will update it as often as possible to let you know where I am in my journey to become a published author.
I hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy writing it.
